Youth Sports Welfare Foundation India (YSWFI)
The Youth Sports Welfare Foundation India (YSWFI) is a registered non-profit trust based in Bihar, dedicated to fostering sports at the grassroots level and promoting environmental awareness among the youth. Since its inception in 2016, YSWFI has been actively engaged in organizing impactful sporting initiatives, particularly in roller skating, for children and youth across Bihar and neighboring states.
Formally registered under the Indian Trust Act in February 2022, the foundation has continually expanded its reach and influence. YSWFI is committed not only to nurturing athletic talent but also to instilling values of environmental stewardship, inclusivity, social welfare, advocating for a healthier and more sustainable future.

History & Evolution
🛹 2016 – Grassroots Beginning
Founded by Mr. Ashish Kumar, a devoted skating coach, YSWFI began with local skating batches in Patna, sowing the seeds for a broader mission: to democratize sports and make it accessible to all.
📝 2022 – Official Registration
In February 2022, YSWFI was officially registered as a Trust under the Indian Trust Act, Government of India, solidifying its operational structure and opening avenues for strategic partnerships and funding.

Skating Marathons (2021–2024)
YSWFI has proudly organized three major Skating Marathons, collaborating with esteemed partners including:

APYK (Aao Patna Yuva Kreeda)
NCC Udaan
Event Themes: Road Safety, Fit India Movement, Save Trees
Participants: Over 2,500 skaters from Bihar and neighboring states
Open Skating Championships (2025)
In 2025, YSWFI successfully conducted two Open Skating Championships, garnering significant support from the Bihar Skating Association and local sports organizations.
Total Participation: Over 1,000 young skaters
Focus: Competitive exposure and grassroots talent identification
