Founder & Director – Mr. Ashish Kumar

Mr. Ashish Kumar is the visionary founder and heart of YSWFI. A respected skating coach and social change agent, Mr. Kumar founded the foundation in 2016 with a mission to empower youth through sports. With over a decade of grassroots coaching experience, he has trained more than 1000 skaters—many of whom have competed at national and international levels.

His leadership style is inclusive, practical, and results-driven. He believes that access to sports should not be limited by economic or social background. Under his leadership:

  • YSWFI was formally registered in 2022.
  • 3 skating marathons and 2 championships were held successfully.
  • Skating equipment and shoes worth ₹1,00,000+ were distributed to special children.

He also serves as the “lead coordinator” for major events like the SBI Patna Marathon and APYK initiatives. Ashish’s vision has helped YSWFI not only reach thousands of skaters but also build partnerships with police departments, government institutions, and corporates.

His motto is: “Every child deserves a chance to skate, grow, and shine.”
